We envision in an empowered community that harnesses the benefits of humanitarian support to drive the socio-economic needs of disadvantaged livelihoods to become self sustainable.

Our mission is to identify the most vulnerable livelihoods that need help most and resource support aimed at mitigating the needs of the communities that we reach.

In order to effectively carry out our mission, Light Up Hope Uganda believes that:

  • Local community leadership must drive and implement the organization's actions
  • Expanding into new communities requires identifying and fostering strong local leadership
  • Our actions must promote the socio-economic sustainability and independence of the local communities through using the available resources.
  • Working hand in hand with the local communities, government institutions and other charitable organizations.
